Here we go again.
As a Non-Practicing Born Again Christian I have to throw in my 2 cents on the latest round of ‘God Talk’.
Going into Iraq, all you heard from Bush was God told me to do this, God told me to do that. He continues to use Gods name when he talks about disasters, why they happen, who they happen to, and what he’s doing to correct the problems.
Then you have the Falwell’s and Robertsons that blame the disasters on God, by bringing up the subject of sin in New Orleans, despite the fact that as many people, if not more were displaced in Mississippi, and Alabama, with less aid from Fema and the Red Cross. And, they wouldn’t be considered ‘sin city’.
But, it’s OK to advocate the assassination of foreign leaders in public, and thus becoming sinners themselves.
Then, we have the uproar over evolution versus creationism, the word ‘God’ in the pledge, and soon to come, the use of the word ‘God’ on money.
If anyone really thinks that Vengeance is mine, saith the Lord, then this is it, folks.
People have screwed up so bad, in the name of God, and continue to, that it’s no wonder all this shit is going on.
Hurricanes, Tornados, huge increases in poverty, disease, soon to come West Coast Earthquakes, and the possibility that Ann Coulter, is really a woman. Personally, that’s the worst disaster, of them all.
Maybe, we can get her to move to LA. But then, that would have to be ‘God’s Will’, now wouldn’t it?
