Just Wondering

Since the Republicans have been supporting George Bush, despite all the bad news, and since the Republicans have been claiming, despite the pictures, that there is no torture going on, and since there have been Americans captured in Iraq, as hostages………………and the shoe, is on the other foot………………………Just Wondering.

RIP

It is with a massive regret that I recognize the end of the Political Puzzle. This great bastian of Liberal truth will be sorely missed by all of us. And, even though this blog, in the forest has fallen, it has made a great noise.
Hammer on, Dave.

Thank You

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

Today I would like to take time to Thank all of the people, in my life who helped raise and shape me to have lived these soon to be, 54 years. Yes I am defensive, and take no shit, (my mom), like a good joke and not afraid to cuss, (my dad) , decent vocabulary, (several tolerant English teachers, and a great print shop boss), tolerant of others who have an opinion other than my own, (still needs work), and the fact that I am warm, healthy and fed, (all of the above and many not yet met).

I really do thank God, to have had a fairly trouble free life. Have 2 great kids, a loving wife, and the world’s coolest Moose. (Dog)

And to all the readers, pundits and critics have a Happy Thanksgiving. Let’s hope that each coming year will be better, than the last.

George Bush is a Criminal

Filed under: God? Are You There?

That’s right. You read it correctly. He is also a thief, liar, racist, and a murderer. He and his cronies are stealing government money, he lied about the reasons to go to Iraq and lies to keep us there, steals money and aid from those in the poorer sections and schools of this country, and is directly responsible for the deaths of over 2000 American service men and women, and 10’s of thousands of Iraqis.
You wouldn’t allow a child molester to live next door to you.

Why allow Bush to run this country?

IMPEACH, IMPEACH, IMPEACH, IMPEACH, IMPEACH, IMPEACH, IMPEACH, IMPEACH!

The Idiocy of it All

Handmade bombs slow push against insurgents

U.S. Marines and Iraqi soldiers Friday battled an unseen enemy — the handmade bombs that the the military calls improvised explosive devices — on day seven of a major anti-insurgent offensive in northwestern Iraq. Meanwhile, Arabic-language news network Al-Arabiya reported that Saddam Hussein’s former deputy, Izzat Ibrahim al-Douri, has died.

Let me see if I have this right. We invade a country. We overthrow their government. We kill AND torture their citizens, and we are SURPRISED that they are defending their homeland?
I seem to remember that you learned common sence before you became capable of politics.

ICRC seeks access to U.S. suspects

GENEVA, Switzerland (Reuters) — The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) has called for access to all foreign terrorism suspects held by the United States after a report of a covert CIA prison system for al Qaeda captives.

The Washington Post said on Wednesday that the CIA was hiding and interrogating inmates at a secret facility in Eastern Europe, among so-called “black sites” in eight countries under a global network set up after the September 11, 2001 attacks

If you have ever watched any World War 2 movies or read any history books on German POW camps, you would know that whenever the Red Cross would arrive for an inspection, they always A. Would announce their visit ahead of time, and B. The Germans would hand out the Red Cross packages, mail, and paint barracks, issue bedding, and hide the torture rooms.

What do you think will happen when the ICRC goes to inspect ANY POW operation run by the Bush Administration AND the United States of America?

I find it very hard to believe that the people of this country, are as stupid, as either the government think they are, or WE think they are. God Help Us All, whatever he may be.

Whew!

Hi Readers. Lots of news out there lately, and very little posted here.
I’ve been very busy keeping the systems on this end running. With the wind down in the seasons comes yard work, car maintainance and hundreds of other necessary chores.

Cudoes to the Democrats IF they are actually getting off their ass’s and doing something. I still cannot support Kerry, even if he was found to be the second coming of FDR. There is just something about a man, who won’t back those who tried to prove that the election was a fraud. Many hard working people put their time, money and reputations on the line for him, and there has been no appriciation noted, for their efforts. There are many worthwhile people who the Dem’s can back, between now and the primarys. And…..I’m not talking about Howard (the screamer)Dean, Hillary(don’t even go there)Clinton, or John (swift boat, no hope)Kerry.
Look to the Obamas, and the newer kid’s on the block for the sustaining drive to the future. Shoot the old horses, and be done with it.
