A couple of months ago I wrote a page about a guy, who stood up in an airplane, announced he had a gun and wanted to get off, and was then shot by air marshals on the tarmac. It was determined, eventually, that the guy was off his pills.
Roll forward to today, and you have a 15 year old, at a Florida middle school waving a ‘look a like’ 9mm pellet gun around at other students. Then to emphasize his over all intelligence that led him to take the gun to school in the first place, he (you guessed it) pointed the gun at a swat team.
They now state that he is on Advanced Life Support.
Living in PA, as I do, and having an idiot with a room full of guns, not too far from where I live, shooting the parents of his 14 year old girl friend, I am not reaching too deeply for any sympathy, for another dumb ass.
Now, what we’ll end up with, is another Bernard Goetz (remember the subway vigilante) a guy defending himself, being held responsible for the crippling of a kid who apparently was never taught, that A. You NEVER take a gun to school, or B. You never tell people that you want to kill yourself, and then point the gun at a SWAT team.
Florida.
Can’t vote, can’t drive, and now CAN support a brain dead idiot for the rest of his natural days.
