Well fellow bloggers. If you haven’t gotten it figured out by now, the web is not where the take over/revolution is going to occur, in this country.
Bush isn’t going away, coal miners are no safer, gas prices keep rising, and we sit here and in thousands of other places bitching. These blogs cannot take the place of the corner store, or the neighborhood bar where people used to gather to discuss social issues.
If you haven’t noticed, no matter how flammatory anyones remarks are concerning what they would ‘like to do’ to Bush, physically, or to this nation, as a whole, you haven’t heard of thousands of web sites being closed, or writers being thrown in camps.
This is because, as long as the ‘babies have their toys’ and are permitted to make ‘veiled threats’, no matter how bad they sound, they won’t be marching in the streets, taking over state houses, or actually physically harming Bush. The people are placated by writing, and bitching, and reading.
Arrests will begin.
It’s going to happen eventually. But then, it is going to be too late. Bush is consolidating his power, as you read. The 2006 election will make no difference to that internal power structure that he has been creating, these last 5 years. Doesn’t matter, as you have seen already, how many seats the Democrats win.
I am afraid that the only place this ‘revolution’ can happen, is for people to literally begin climbing the White House Fences. Inturrupting the Congress and Senate meetings with verbal and physical protests. Refusing to allow taxes to be withheld from wages. Shutting down the transportation, education, and utilites.
Will people be killed…..yes. Will people be jailed…..yes. Will the government go away…..NO.
BUT, when they realize that people are paying attention, and questioning, and demanding answers, and dying literally, for America, then and only then, will the ass wipes that get ’selected’ to office do their jobs.
If I remember correctly, the White House fence has pikes on it. Lets begin to put the politicians heads on all those pikes until they take the hint.
You Say You Want a Revolution? Here it is.
