Mommy, Where’s the Cat?

I used to pride myself on my ability to make a story up and see just how many people that I could convince, that it was true.
I was watching the news from Delaware and they show a picture of a man walking up and down his driveway showing the camera man where he has been finding WW2 Grenades. Real, live Grenades.
Turns out that crushed oyster/clam shells are used as a cheap paving material near the beach.
The company that dredges for these items has run across an old, unmarked military munitions dump, in the Ocean. In addition to grenades, over 100 other people have found Mustard Gas Canisters, artillary shells, rockets, you name it in their driveways. The military has been quick to point out that since these munititions have been submerged so long, they are harmless.
Tell that to the 2 guy’s at the Dover Air Base who attempted to difuse a Mustard Gas Shell. They have blisters, on their arms the size of footballs.

The company is now going to install metal detectors on their boats to try and catch them before they go to the crusher.

Now, you see what I mean. I couldn’t even begin to imagine this, let alone make it up.
