The Anti-Abortion people are at it again.
They are yelling at Warren Buffet for leaving all his money to the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.
This is due to Buffet’s funding into the development of the RU-486 abortion drug, donations to Planned Parenthood, and to fund birth control in developing countries.
The Anti Abortion people point out that there are 200,000 less people in the world this year, due to abortions.
Now, I am a Christian, I don’t recommend abortion to anyone. However, more children starve per year, in this world from disease and hunger then from all the abortions done.
If you worked harder to take care of the children, that somehow make it into this world, despite the stupidity of politicians to continually make up new excuses to kill adults AND children in their stupid damn wars, then you might make your case against abortion.
Don’t cry to me about fetuses when there are starving, dieing children in THIS country.
Let me see the same people stand with the anti-war advocates. You won’t.
Why?
Because, we have a Christian President who supports the right to life………….only if it hasn’t been born yet.
Good evening Ladies and Germs. I guess that must have originated long before I did, but sometimes it doesn’t feel like.
That brings me to this long overdue posting.
I have been away for a time. As you get older, some things start to break down on you. When (Occasionally) more than 2 things break at the same time, you tend to become overwhelmed. This is what happened to me. On the 22nd I checked into the Ephrata Hospital Patient Behavioral Clinic. (Yes, they used to call them nut houses) Four days later I was back at home far better than I ever thought I could ever feel, and all without additional drugs. Now, there wasn’t any magic in this cure. Just a review of my current medications, consistent portioning of great food, fantastic staff from counselors, to nurses, doctors, and all the rest. I also want to Thank John Porter, head chief at the hospital for the foresight to have hired the right people to get the job done.
So, having said that, I would highly recommend this hospital and department if you’re like me……at the end of that long rope that God has given you, so he can see how long it takes you to hang yourself with it. Or, you need a well deserved reevaluation of your meds, a rest from that every day problem that nags you, or you’re thinking of doing something REAL STUPID like trying to kill yourself. Just remember to help yourself first. You can’t help others unless you do.

Summer is here. I finally managed to get my pond cleaned. DamSpot has not had a good few months for his health. Tearing your Quads, which in turns trips me down a set of steps which in turn damages a shoulder that was totally rebuilt 5 years ago at Hopkins in Baltimore. So, we get 7 weeks in an immoblizer on our left leg, and since the pro’s at Hopkins were the last to touch the shoulder they are they only ones who will even have a look at it. Appointments to be made there, fights with insurance companies for going out of the system. Matter of fact Hopkins won’t even look at you unless their payment is 100% guaranteed.
Yep, gonna be one hell of a summer!
