You’ve Been Recalled

Those are the words that many corporate executives should be hearing these days.

Ford recalls 10 years worth of vehicles with defective cruise control modules. So, how many vehicles/houses were burned?

Mattel recalls millions of toys coated with hazardous paint and plastics. Some are several years old.

Hundreds of pets die from eating, in some cases, high end pet foods that stores and vets recommended to pet owners.

Graco, a maker of children’s car seats, high chairs, and other child accessories found everywhere have issued yet, another recall for unsafe latchs on bottom seat belts on car seats.

So……what do all these events have in common? China?
Yes and No.
What we have are corporate pigs who put profit ahead of safety. So, they farm their manufacturing out of country to, of course, save labor costs.

What they don’t do is monitor and continuously check these resources for the specifications that they require.
So what? We save money. It won’t happen to my kid!

We have become very complacent in allowing companies to outsource our jobs and our safety.

Now, getting to China.
The biggest problem I see there is that in trying to kill those who actually are causing these problems, such as the pet foods, they have tipped off those who are also responsible, such as the Mattel lead paint, and missed justice, due to suicide.

I think American Corporations had better take heed of Chinas way’s of dealing with failure.
Our government is collapsing, as we speak, so pretty soon there will be no one to cover you’re sorry ass’s.
